Who: All Republicans, especially candidates, are encouraged to join us to march or at our booth!
Wear sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, and shirts for candidates, Republican theme, or red. Don’t carry a bag you must hold onto, if possible. The marching route is approximately 2.75 miles long, up Martin Luther King Drive, ending at Pittman-Sullivan Park, where hundreds of vendor booths will be selling refreshments to support local charities. A good option is to take VIA park and ride, which will drop you off at the beginning of the route at MLK Academy and pick up at the end at the park.
Marchers, plan to gather near the American Legion Post 828 at 3411 Martin Luther King Drive. Look for the large American flag we’ll carry to help you find us amid the crowd.
Notice: Police will be blocking off the streets in the area at 8:30 AM, so you will not be able to drive near these locations after that time.
